Where’s the nearest airport? Toronto has 2 airports.

  1. Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) is the major international hub and is located in Mississauga, a 25-minute train ride from downtown Toronto on the UP Express train.


  2. Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (YTZ) is a convenient airport located on Toronto Island that caters to business travellers. However, only Porter Airlines and Air Canada serve this location, with limited US destinations. A pedestrian tunnel and ferry connect the island with the mainland.

How do I get downtown Toronto?

From Toronto Pearson International Airport, the fastest way to get downtown is to take the Union Pearson Express. A round-trip ticket costs $25 CAD and can be pre-purchased online here. It only takes 25 minutes to travel to Union Central Station, with trains departing every 15 minutes. From Union station, it’s a six minute walk to Le Germain Hotel.


If you landed at Billy Bishop Airport, you can either take an 8-minute taxi, or take the 509 streetcar four stops east to the Harbourfront Centre to get to Le Germain Hotel.
